Summer Newsletter...

Time to let you know what is happening. We now have just 80 days left as I write this newsletter, until this years International which will take place in the West of Ireland around the town of Ballaghadareen on the Roscommon/Mayo border. The Rivers Suck & Shannon; or anyone of the big loughs nearby to be used to stage the International.

Thanks to all those who have chosen to come along and support the team as a member of our stewards. We should be able to provide a pretty good coverage of he Irish Squad members. If you still have funds to pay up for your accommodation, then please get in touch with Stu or Louise as soon as possible. You can e-mail them at this link  HERE

This years Team Selection Final will take place on the Warwickshire Avon around our chosen hotel of the Salford-Hall Hotel near Stratford-Upon-Avon on the the weekend of the 13th & 14th of November; where Andy Waller has negotiated a fantastic price reduction for us. Cost per night is about £32.50 based on two sharing a room - Fantastic!

Registration will take place in the Salford Hall hotel’s car park from 7.30am onwards. We hope to be out of there as soon as possible, and start fishing before 10.30am at the latest. If you haven’t entered yet; then better hurry up quick.....coz once those 50 places are taken up then that’s it.

Just one thing left to mention, is the PAC Annual Convention which this year is taking place at the Kettering Convention Centre on September 25th. As I’m on the PAC Committee (Webmaster) I can sneak a couple of you in for Free - so long as you spend a little bit of time taking it in turns to hand out some of the many promotional items I’ve had prepared for the BPS - things like postcards, magnetic cards, invitation letters and forms. You would also be expected to try and sell some of the PAC’s Raffle Tickets. But you would still have plenty of time to visit the tackle stands, especially the brilliant second-hand stall for some excellent bargains. If you have some gear to sell yourself, ask me and I’ll send you the forms and then you can just leave it to the guys there to flog your gear for you. There’ll be some excellent talks and slide-shows going on from some top guys. So it’s worth a visit, even if you are not a PAC member. If you are interested in attending, then let me know asap.....I’ll send you all the details, and even throw in your breakfast and buy you a couple of pints in the bar.
